The ideal profile for us

Hold a diploma of vocational studies (DEP) in fire safety intervention 
Hold a college diploma (DEC) in fire safety techniques 
Possess a valid class 4A driver's license 
Possess a valid pleasure craft operator's license 
Hold an INU1 certification (Level 1 Emergency Nautical Responder), an asset

September 29 at 9 AM (duration of about 2h30): Virtual pre-selection inventory (psychometric test + test aimed at assessing basic technical knowledge of the firefighter profession)
Weeks of October 19: Physical aptitude test in an aquatic environment
November 10, 11, and 12: Physical aptitude and practical and technical skills tests
End of November – December: Selection interview
Pre-employment verification including:
- - Driver's license verification (class 4A and 5);
  - Pleasure craft operator's license verification;
  - Diploma verification;
  - Medical examination (costs covered by the City)
  - Security clearance investigation.
